Textured Square Bowl

This project was a really cool project. I had a lot of fun picking out the different textures and patterns you could put with the bowl, and the freedom to do anything you want with it. The only thing I struggled with was when you had to build it, you had to be careful to not break it, but you needed to be generous with the slip so that it would stick together. I was happy with how it turned out in the end, I'm not sure what I would change if I had to do it again.

Foam Lemon

This project was a difficult one. It was hard to make the lemon perfectly circular, but then I realized lemons aren't perfectly circle. Other than that I really liked this project, if I did it again, I wouldn't do something circular, but I really enjoyed that this was a challenging project.

Clay Duck

This has been my favorite project so far this year! It was challenging but I really enjoyed it. I liked how I got to make a realistic animal of my choice, and paint it to look like the animal. What was challenging though, was making sure it was symmetrical and when I had to detail all of the feathers to look realistic. But, I had so much with this project and would do it again.

Wheel Pottery

I really enjoyed this project. I was able to grasp the main points on the wheel. If I could change something about the project, I'd be more watchful on making the top level because some are crooked but I also like it. I would also be more careful while trimming because a couple of pots got ruined by holes. I really enjoyed this project and would 100% do it again.

Raku Pot

This was probably my favorite project this year. The only downfall was it fell over and I was never able to get it fully centered and circular again. Other than that I really enjoyed the project it was really different and I loved the firing aspect in having to put sawdust and do other things to it. I would love to make another raku pot.
