This project made me very happy because it turned out much better than I expected. We took the lines we created from the project before and made them into whatever our brain was telling us they looked like. Therefore, my brain said it looked like an amusement park. Specifically looking like the well-known Disneyland.
This project showed me how to enlarge a picture, but in drawing form. I chose a wrench because at the moment it looked very easy, but I soon realized that I was wrong. The shading was quite tricky, but I got through it and came out not too badly.
This project taught me how to bring my artistic skills to life. I got to pick my own picture of whatever I wanted and make an interpretation of it in my own way. It was a very challenging project, to say the least, and I had to trust the process a lot, but in the end, it came out okay, and I can learn from my mistakes and try better next time.
This project showed me how to take an already done watercolor and turn it into my own painting. It tested my watercolor skills and challenged me to improve my art in general. This was one of the easier projects, as I tend to struggle with watercolor. I enjoyed this project.
We made lanterns out of clay. This project showed me how to put my building and creative skills to use. This project took a couple of hard-working weeks to get done, as it needed to be fired and glazed a couple of times. I think this project was a little challenging, but overall not too bad. My lantern came out pretty, and how I wanted it to be.
We traced a picture of an insect, then colored it in with oil pastels and learned how to blend it to make it look realistic. This project took me a while to finish and was challenging, especially blending it to make it look good. I enjoyed this project because it was calming getting to color the oil pastels.
We printed out an animal, then printed the pencil and carved our design out. After that, we rolled ink on them and started making different colored and mixed designs with different papers. When we were done, we made a booklet of 5 different prints. I really enjoyed this project because it was satisfying to carve out the print and paint the ink on.
For this project, I made a bowl out of clay. I shaped the design I wanted, then let it dry and glazed it a couple of times. I think this project took a while and was challenging at the time because I didn't try my best, but if I got a second chance, it would turn out much better. Overall, I liked this project and am glad I got it done.
