For this project, I had to create a picture using 9 different lines. I used colored pencils and used shading for demension. It took me 2 weeks to finish!
For this project, we had to use different techniques of shading to realistically draw our hand holding an object. I was holding a paint brush so I needed many different strokes with different pencils with different leads. This project took us 3 weeks!
For my landscape painting, I chose a picture of the ocean with a sunset and a little field of flowers. I used acrylic paint and multiple techniques. It was a long process of trail and error. It took me about 3 weeks!
For this project, I used various clay coiling techniques and constructed a sturdy and eye pleasing bowl. At first, my bowl wasn't consistent and it fell apart. I had to restart but this time I used my classmates´, Bailey Soerens, design and it came out just right. Then, I painted 3 coats of pink glaze. It took us 3 weeks of work and it was worth it!
For our clay whistle project, it took us 2 weeks and took a lot of trial and error to make the whistle work. We made a hollow sphere for the body and could make anything out of the whistle. I made mine my bunny and glazed it the correct and accurate colors. I loved this project and would choose to do it again.
For this project, we cut out multiple slabs of clay and pressed different textures into them. Then, we score and slipped all the pieces together to make a lantern! We ended with making holes for the light and a lid. Lastly, we glazed it and I did a green/blue color! I loved this project and I would do it again.
This project took me 2 weeks. Each day I made progress by adding different elements to make demention thoughout the colors. First, I picked my picture and used a complementary orange and blue color scheme. Next, I outlined it and started on the first light layer. Ovetime I added more layers to make it darker and add depth while keep the lighter areas. In conclusion, this was a very fun project and I would do it again!
