Personal Logo

This personal logo makes up my initials- KO. It includes a graduated cylinder and a boot to make the K and a dirt bike tire to make the O. The graduated cylinder represents my love for science and learning new things. The boot represents my love for living in the country and is something that I would feel weird without. The tire represents the my love for adventure and riding. The spokes on the tire were interesting to make but I think it really ties the project together. I painted the flag on the sides because it represents the fact that both of my grandpas were in the military and that is something I am considering after college. I am really happy with how this foam logo turned out and was something I enjoyed doing.

Foam Object

I chose this spur because it represents part of who I am and what I love to do. I used foam to recreate my grandpa's old spur that I use when I ride my horse. I wanted to challenge myself and make the rowel (the rotating wheel) actually move. The fact that I made it rotate and move freely is something I am really proud of and that is my favorite thing about this project. The one thing I would change about this project would to make it more lifelike but painting foam to look like metal is actually really hard.
