During this project, everyone in our class drew lines, and then we chose nine lines. We didn't know what the lines were for at first, but once we found out, we all did our best. Our main goal during this project was to utilize the lines we had from the nine and create a big picture from them. I chose a charcuterie board. Some of the foods were really obvious and I knew exactly what I was going to make, but other lines were harder and I didn't know what to do with them. My favorite part of this project was watching what everyone else in the class was seeing and watching the same lines turn into completely different scenes.Â
I learned a lot of techniques while doing this project. For example, I learned shading, and drawing twice the size of a picture. This project took a lot of hard work and dedication and I think it turned out a lot better than I thought it would. When Langmaak said that we should be using our eyes and not our brains during this project and showing us how to hold and use the different tools were really helpful also.
