I really enjoyed this first project becasue it challenged me to think way outside the box. I was very puzzled at first, trying to figure out how I was going to figure out these lines. I first saw a fish and a jellyfish, and I stuck with that. I realized that I could fit in small details, and that would make the drawing 10x better.
Silhouette Painting
This silhouette painting is my favorite thing I have ever done in art. I definitely had my doubts when I first started this painting, not knowing what colors I was going to use, what I was even going to paint, and just overall if I would fall behind easily. At first, I wanted to do blues, purples, and a moon with a lot more of dark features. I ended up going with a purplish blue at the top, going into a darker red, then a darker coral orange, then into my yellows. I chose to do a sun, mountains, and a large cattail in the bottom because I think going simple is the way to go.
