This project had us copy from a picture we took of our hand holding a tool and turn it into a scaled up pencil drawing. We made use of a technique called the line method that allowed us to scale the drawing by a factor of two. We also used specialized pencils that applied specific amounts of graphite to create what is called value, which shows up either lighter or darker depending on the specific pencil and pressure applied. I found the project to be moderately challenging as I struggled slightly with the shading. In the end I think it came out decently. It could've been better, but I'm still proud of how it ended up turning out.
