Introduction to Studio Art

This project was pretty hard for me to get used to how watercolor works. I learned that you have to paint fast, go with the flow, and also add many many layers. Adding shadow with the pen was really helpful for my painting as it added a lot to it and helped show where there were shadows. Overall im pretty happy with it. I think I could do better if I was ever to do it again since I have more knowledge of watercolor and are more used to how it works. This was really fun and rewarding when finished.

This project was a lot of fun trying to make changes that were not noticeable. My favorite part was learning how to use the program it was also the hardest part to. I’m not really sure I could have done anything different. I think the book will look really good when it’s done. I hope people will have fun viewing this book and it will be entertaining.

This project was really hard for me to get it how I wanted it to look. It still wasn't the nest way I wanted it to be but I think it might have been better to restart and try again. I would next time try and make everything flow together better and not be so abrupt. I would also chose a different color scheme to make it look more like what I envisioned it to be. I think I learned a lot through doing this and it will be fun the next time I try and do this to see how it will look! It was very interesting to use acrylic paint I think I needed to remember that I could do multiple layers to get it how I wanted it.

I did finish this drawing but I got rid of it before I took a picture of the finished result so this is the only picture I have of it before it was almost done. I was happy with the way it turned out. I think the only thing I would have done better was adding darker spots to give the piece more depth because I think it ended up being a little flat in the end. It would be fun to do this again and see how different it looks after the things I learned from the first one!
