In stark contrast to the self portrait, I was not pleased with the result of this project. Despite the fact that I had extra time during finals week to touch up the painting, the lighting and coloration are inaccurate horrendously messy. I really bit off more than I could chew when I picked such a complex picture to recreate. I have absolutely no idea how anyone could think it was good, but alas, art is a subject I will never completely understand.
