After watching the video I felt really sad but extremely grateful. I was bummed that I didn't get to see Shahida receive her portrait but that's okay because I like to imagine she had big smile. That was another really fun thing to see was every child's reaction, it was pure joy. I feel like making them a portrait was so small, minuscule, and didn't mean much but after seeing their faces it was incredible. They cherished what each person made and it makes your heart feel warm. I highly suggest anyone that takes advance art to do this project, it's very rewarding and fun to do.
