For this project we were given a piece of paper with different types of lines and we had to make it into one big image. I chose to make a mountain range because I thought it would look cool using the lines given. I learned to think out side of the box with what to turn the lines into. This project was hard at first to think of something but once you get an idea it gets a lot easier and it ends up being fun to see what it turns out to look like.
For this project we had to take a picture of our hand with a tool and then put it on a paper that is double the size. I learned how to double the size by using a piece of paper to measure the distance and then doubling on a bigger paper. Then, I learned how to shade with different darkness' of pencil to add a effect to the look of the drawing. Overall, I am happy with how this turned out and it was a fun project to do.
For this project we had to choose a landscape and then paint it. I wasn't the best at painting so I had to have a lot of help on this project. I learned how blend colors and how to make different shades to make it look more realistic. Overall, with the help of people this project turned out pretty good and it was fun to see how you can make lots of progress.
For our final project before semester we had to make a clay whistle. We started out by making the whistle, and then you could make it into whatever you wanted. Next, he put it in this thing that makes it hard and then you can glaze it. I chose to make a basketball because it didn't seem super hard and it is my favorite sport. Overall, it was cool making the whistle and then hearing the sound after you made it.
