I chose to do an alien invasion theme because the line in the middle to the right was very difficult, but I pictured a UFO, so I based it off of that. These lines were very difficult, but with some creativity help from my dad, I made the curvy line on top to the left into the cloud.  Eventually, I got a creative enough mind to finish the sketch, and the coloring came easy. I really enjoyed this project despite the amount of hair pulling I did.

I really like how this project turned out. I started out with drawing the points twice as big as the refrence picture, then connecting the points to eventually create the outlines of everything.  Then I started blending, and I started from the lightest areas to the darkest areas. I enjoyed the procsess of this project, even though when I first started, I thought the world was going to end

I loved how this project turned out. It was very stress free, and I felt very peaceful while painting. In my opinion, painting the water turned out better than the sky. The black silhouettes really added a touch to the yellow, orange, and red backdrop. I chose to do a beachy vibe because I am sad that the summer is over, and I wanted to paint something to remember it.
