Into To Art
Into To Art
For this project we had 9 random lines around the paper and had to make it into a peice of art. I started with the top of the paper and thought that it could be some mountains and I also added a sun where the mountain are. I then thought that there could be a waterfall into a lake but the waterfall didn't turn out as good as I had planned. I then realized that there was a line in the middle of the lake so I made it into a little island. I then made a tent on top of a mountain because that was what came into my imagination from the line. To finish it off I surrounded the lake in some bright green grass.
For this project we had to take a picture of our hand holding a tool or some sort. I chose a wrench. I started the project with doubling it in size with the method that we were taught to by using dots and then connecting them to create a hand. The drawing the hand part was easy but when it came to adding value to it, it was a much different story. I started with the bottom of my hand and worked my way up until all I had left was the wrench. The wrench was one of the easier parts because there was not much to add except for a few dark parts. To finish off the project I used the electric eraser to create the sharp edges that it needed.
For this project I had started it off by tracing the lines of the mountains and sunset on to a different paper. I had labeled it from the farthest away from me to the closest to me and did one part per day until I finished. This project was not too hard as I had chose a pretty easy picture.
For this project we had to make a whistle that worked. After the whistle worked we got to design it into anything we wanted to. I myself did the yellow angry bird while another did the red angry bird, the blue angry bird, and the black angry bird. We made the angry bird group together,
For this project we made lanterns out of clay. We started by making a trapezoid on a slab of clay and then adding the design we then repeated that process three more times. We then made the top and bottom and then the studs and handle. Once that was done we put it in the kiln and then glazed 3 coats and put it in the kiln agian and it was then done.
For this project we made a bowl out of clay. I made more of a fruit bowl because of how manyh holes I have in it. You can't really use this bowl for anything else but I am still glad I went with this design. This project was really fun to make because of the unique design.
For this project we had to make make a underwater animal wiht water color. We started by tracing the animal onto the paper. We then inked the spots and added lots of detail. We then started the water color. On the background we got the paper wet first, on the actual animal you did not. This project was fun and I enjoyed it a lot.
We started this project by tracing the animal and other parts onto the paper with pencil. I personally started with the background and in my opion it was the easiest part becuase you just blend it with your finger and leave no edges. The actual insect needed to have sharp edges and value to it so then it wasn't flat. This project was really fun in my opion and I liked making it a lot.
For this project we started off with tracing the bird onto this plate. We then went over certain spots with sharpie so then we would know what not to carve out of the plate. We then started carving it once we were done with the sharpie. We then covered it in ink and printed it onto multiple pieces of paper until we had 5 that we liked. We then contructed the book out of those 5. I liked this project a lot but it was kinda challenging at some points but overall it was a fun and unique project.
