Clay Whistle

For this project, we started with a ball of clay and then cut it in half and made a small pot with each half put the two halves together, then we put a rectangle-shaped clay piece on it. Next, we put a popsicle stick down the rectangle and poked a hole through the top and messed with it until it whistled eventualy. lastly we added deatels and glazed it with color glaze.

For this project, we cut out squares and trapezoids, scored them, assembled them with slip, added details, and poked holes in them. Then we put a handle on it. Lastly, we put it in the Kiln, took it out, applied a colorful glaze, put it back in the Kiln, and then we were done.

clay bowl

For this project we started with a bowl and covered it with paper towels, then we drew lines on the paper towels. Next we traced the outline of our bowl with coils of clay, then I covered the outside with clay and left the inside a pattern. We then put it in the Kiln then took it out and glazed it with a color glaze, put it back in the Kiln, took it out and we were done.
