3D art

The hexagon box was fun to make, especially making the lid. I liked making the box fit together and then cutting out the lid. Making the flower on the top was fun, until I dropped the whole box right after I finished, but I ended up liking the new lid that I made.

I like the first part of this project when we cut out our pieces and drew out what we wanted it to look like. When we had to make the metal pieces it was very satisfying.

Working with the pottery wheel was a very fun experience, it was challenging at first to center the clay on the wheel and then form something out of the mound of clay. After getting the hang of it, it was fun to try different things. Trimming was hard, i liked the finished product.
