During this project, I learned how to use color pencils, and it is actually turning out well. Learning that it is better to color it with more pressure than we usually do, and not being able to see the white underneath. For this project, I was inspired to do a lake because I love being at the lake, and I saw an opportunity to do a waterfall. I definitely like the waterfall the least, but it turned out better than I had expected. I like best how the ducks, cars, and the sunset turned out. My goal for this project is to get it done with the project on time and for it to look great to me. I think I made both my goals cause I definitely think that it could've turned out worse.
hand drawing
The techniques and skills learned during this project were that I needed to go extreme on light and dark. I also learned to use my eye and not my brain because there were many times when I thought something was wrong, but it really wasn't. The things I liked best for my project were how my hand turned out, and what didn't turn out the best was that the shading was a little hard to get right, especially for the handle of the hammer.
landscape painting
I chose this painting because I thought it would be easy. But I underestimated how much work I would need to put into this project. What I like best about this final piece is the ground and the bushes. The least I like about this piece is how time-consuming and hard the sky would be. This piece is more than what I hoped for, and very happy with myself on how it turned out
lantern
This lantern project was easier than I had expected. I definitely like the color and design I picked out. Something that I dislike is that you can tell that I messed up in some places, and i couldve been more thoughtful about what I was doing and how I was doing it.
clay bowl
This bowl project i thought it would be easy, but then as I got into it i realized it was a trust the process thing. Something I disliked is that it was hard to get it smooth to where I wanted it. Something I like is how the color turns out.
clay whistle
this whistle project i learned that you have to have at least a couple run throughs to get the whistle to whistle. I also underestimated how big i would need to make the ears, but i figured it out. something i dislike about this project is how big the eyes are.
