Creative Lines

This is my creative lines drawing. I looked at the lines and saw a sea theme. I started by drawing the animals and the I colored it.

Hand Drawing

This drawing was very difficult for me.  It took a long time and I would get frustrated when something didn't work out. I never thought I could draw something this realistic. I was really happy with the end results.

Landscape Painting

This project very fun. I had a lot of trouble with the sky and how to make the clouds look good.  Other than that the project was not that difficult for me. I liked how the end result turned out and if I had another chance to do this again I would.

Clay Jar

This project was much harder than I expected. First, we started by getting familiar on how to make a jar with clay and then we started actually making the jar. I made a flat circle for the bottom and then curved it up. Then, I made a circle for the top and made it into the shape I wanted. I let it dry, put it into the kiln, and then put 3 layers of the white glaze on. After that dried I put several layers of the brown glaze on my jar.  It went into the kiln and then it was done.

Clay Whistle

This project seemed hard in the beginning but I got the hang of dealing with clay so it was not as hard as I expected it to be. First we made two half circles and put them together to make the inside hollow. Then we started making the whistle by sticking a pencil through it to make the opening. After we got it to whistle we started to glaze and put it in the kiln.

Clay Bowl

First, I started by putting paper towels on the bowl so the clay wouldn't stick. Then, I constructed a design to put on my bowl and drew the lines in sharpie. I started putting the clay on the lines and soon it was ready to take off the bowl structure. It went in the kiln and after I put two different colors of glaze on the bowl and put it in the kiln again. Now, it is ready to use.

Insect Oil Pastel

First, I drew the outline of the picture onto the paper with a pencil. Then, I used the oil pastels to make the design come to life. I blended the colors making them more vibrant. I did a few finishing touches and then I took the tape off the outside so it would be a straight line. This project was way easier than I had expected and I had fun.

Watercolor

This project was much harder than I had expected. I had a lot of trouble getting the color where I wanted it to be. First, I picked out a picture that I wanted and then I trased the picture onto the paper. I colored the background of the picture then I started with the whale. It took a lot of layers to get it done but it was worth the time.
