Creative lines

This is my creative line project where I took 9 random lines and turned it into the scene. I'm not a very creative person so this was a struggle for me and I kinda like how it turned out and kinda don't.  I got my inspiration from Italy when I Visited Mount Vesuvius.

Hand Drawing

This is my hand drawing that took quite a few months to make. I really struggled to get this done because of the fair, volleyball and my own forgetfulness. I like how this turned out even though it was such a long process. I regret picking a huge tool to draw but that's ok. I really don't mind shading and this project was fun.

Landscape Painting

This is my landscape painting where I took a picture of landscape and turned it into a painting. This landscape is in Moab, Utah of the Colorado River. This painting turned out amazing for the most part. I love the reds and blues and greens that I used to paint. A struggle that I had was painting the sky, but I love my painting now and how it turned out.

Clay Jar

This is the clay jar that I made. First I needed to shape my clay into something out of nothing. I decided to make a loaf of bread because that's what I was really craving that class period. After I shaped it, I carve the insides out to make a jar. Then after that, I put it in the kiln and then added three layers of white glaze. Then I did one to two layers of a brown. Then, put it in the kiln to harden It came out kinda spotted but I think it was just the color. Overall, I am happy with it.

Clay Whistle

This is the clay whistle I made. I really wanted to make some sort of animal so I chose a ladybug. I really like how the stops came out and how they were raised on the surface. I should have done the red first but oh well. I put at least 3 coats of the colors on the clay.  Getting the whistle to actually whistle was very easy for me. I got it on the first try. I really love how it turned out.

Clay Bowl

This is the clay bowl project I made. The design I really liked but soon found out that it was kinda hard to make and blend. The middle kinda got messed up but it adds spice I liked the color I chose too. It took me a while to finish and I don't like to work with clay.

Ladybug oil pastel

This is my oil pastel drawing. I really enjoyed making this because it looks kind of real. A problem that I faced was that the white did not want to want to completely cover the paper as you can see. I really liked how it came out either way.

Water color

This is my watercolor painting I did. This painting was kinda of a struggle for me because of the water colors. I chose to do two clown fish. I really like the contrast of colors between the blue and the orange. I first started the with the backround and then I moved onto the plant. Lastly, I painted the fish.

Bird Print

For this art project, I made a stamp of an owl. I really love how it turned out and it was way easier than I thought it would be. The hardest thing about my print was the fine lines of the feathers of the owl. I semi struggled to cut them out, but in the end I really like how it turned out. This is one of my favorite prints.

Box Project

This is my box project that I made in art class. This project was really easy and only took a couple of days to put together. I really liked the paper I chose but I wished I had chosen sliver to match the theme more. For this project, I did the metal imprinting and then I cut out the foam pieces and made a box. Then I covered it with paper and put the finishing pieces on.
