For this project, we had 9 different lines in different spots, which we had to turn into something. I turned used the lines to make a wagon with letter balloons on a road, a cloud and helicopter, a mountain, and a kite stuck in a tree. I ignored a lot of the lines I was supposed to work with, that's one thing I would like to change. I also feel like I could have made it look more realistic and cleaner with the shading, it could use some work. Considering this one of the first projects this year, overall, I think I'm happy with it.
I feel like I did not do good on this project. It was really hard for me and it took me a long time to figure out what to make. We had lines in 9 different squares and we had to make 9 different things out of the 9 lines. I liked the first 3 squares that I did: the octopus, umbrella in the rain, and the ice cream. After that, I started rushing to finish and was running out of ideas. I really don't like how the macaroni and the bird turned out, I was just trying to finish up. Overall, I did not like this project and would have liked to think of better ideas for some of the squares, but am really excited for the other projects Langmaack has planned.
I am very happy with how this project turned out, and I had a lot of fun making it! For this project, we had to take a picture of our hand holding a tool. We then had to use that photo, along with 4 different pencils with different amounts of darkness to shade and recreate the picture. I am very happy with my hand drawing and it turned out a lot better than I thought it would. I'm excited to move on to the landscape painting.
I really enjoyed this project, and I think it turned out amazing. When I first got this project, I thought it would turn out horrible. The beginning looked pretty bad, but Mr. Langmaack helped me out, and now I'm happy with it. I chose this scene from the Kinderdijk in the Netherlands because I thought it looked cool. I visited the Netherlands this summer and my family is dutch, so I thought it would be cool to paint and maybe put up in one of the room in our house.
This is my duck clay whistle! I was running low on time, so I kinda gave up on the whisle. I was more excited about the design, and I like how it turned out. I like the color I chose for the neck, but I'm sad the black eyes blended into the green head. Overall, I'm happy with how it turned out.
For this project, we continued using clay, and made a clay lantern. We rolled out flat peices of clay and cut all the edges out, designed it, and put all the prices together. Then I glazed the lantern and put it in the kiln. I like the design I chose, and the color for the glaze, and had a lot of fun making this project!
