Caedon Moss' portfolio of art

This is my second creative lines art piece, this picture shows the stormy mountains of Utah showing lots of thunder and clouds with a few trees covering the landscape. My goal for making this was to try something new that i haven't done before. Using deformed shapes really made the landscape pop.

i decided to make my clay jar look like a grilled cheese because, well i like grilled cheese. i added brown on the edges and the kind-of buttery texture in the center and the cheese on the sides of the clay jar. i really enjoyed making this and coming up with the idea to make it look like a grilled cheese sandwich. I think it turned out really well even though there is no picture to go along with this assignment.

this is my video for the 3d art assignment, I loved trying to find a story in my life somewhere and it took me to this. I basically explain how I shouldn't have brought some of my stuff onto one of the rides at Disneyland, that was fun. https://flipgrid.com/bc843d4e

sorry that this image is upside-down. This is my bowl that took me quite sometime to make, but i finally got it to work. I used a blue color because blue is a beautiful hue that fits perfectly onto my bowl. I honestly enjoyed making this and i hope to make more pieces of art in the future.

this piece of art has got to be one of my favorite drawings i did because it  really does show how much time i can put into an assignment. In the picture, it shows my hand holding a hammer. I added lots of shading (mostly) to really show the areas of light and dark.

This is my water color painting, It didn't take me that long to make, but i had lots of fun working on it. I decided to paint a great white shark. They are one of the coastal body cold blooded sharks that are mostly around the pacific and Atlantic. They are also very curious animals. I used for the background a green color because i thought it would blend well with the blue color of the shark.

It is a little hard to see, but this is a portrait i did of myself for an art project we did. I am really proud of how it turned out and hopefully i'll get to take it home and put it up on my wall. I put in a lot of effort trying to get all of the shading right and where the lighting was coming from. I could've done hair, but the day we took pictures for the assignment,  I had put on a hat. Anyway, I'm really proud of this assignment and I'm really excited to do the next one in line.

This is my oil painting that I did towards the least few weeks before Christmas break. I did a picture of a glass of lemonade with some lemons by the side, because i just wanted to show everyone that I love lemonade so much. I"m really proud of this piece because i had to fix it so many times and it turned out so well in the finished product. This was really fun to do and hopefully i can do it again sometime.

This is the scratch art project finished product. The image is a bit blurry but it turned out really well when i completed it. It took me about 3 to 4 weeks to complete. I had to use diffrent stroke styles and change the texture of the fur on the cats depending on how long or short the hair was. It isn't my best work, but I will say it turned out amazing.

This is my water color painting I did, I chose to to one of the buildings that are in Miami beach, Florida. When I finished with it, it had turned out so well, all the colors mainly blue, really pop in the painting. In some aspects, it almost looks 3D. But overall, it was really fun to paint, and having an extended amount of time to do it really helped with how good it would look.

This is my colored pencil art piece that I did before summer started. It shows one of the few remaining San Francisco trolley's that roam the streets today. It took me about a few weeks to finish this using the time to add small and large details to it. some of those details that im really proud of is the reflections on the windows and the surface of the trolley. This is understandably my most detailed piece and I'm really proud of it.

This is my Senior Advanced arts project that I finished on Nov 3, 2023. I decided to create a picture of Ryan Reynolds because, why not! This took me over 3 months to do, and was worth it. The effort of putting tiny dots everywhere to form a picture is definitely a frustrating task, but I made it worth my while. Definitly a great accomplishment of mine.
