This project was an interesting experience for me. This piece of art came out well for how I draw right now. My table had an idea to make a theme for all of our drawings, so we did ships through the ages. I had the task of making a Navy war cruiser. I had a little trouble getting a good color for my ship, but it went well. This project was really enjoyable for me.

My hand-painting was a very hard project for me. I struggled with my hand the most, trying to get the shading right. With the help of my friends and my teacher, Mr. Langmaack, I was able to figure my drawing out. They taught me how to correctly hold my pencil for shading as well as how to blend my drawings with many different shades.

The landscape painting was the hardest thing I have done in Intro to Studio Art yet.  Painting was very hard and was an unexpected challenge. Finding the right colors for my drawing was very frustrating and difficult. Although it wasn't a train wreck because my friends and teacher helped me complete the painting.
