Creative Lines

This is a picture of my creative lines project where we took 9 scribbles and we had to make a picture out of it. I enjoyed this projct because it was fun to think of different ideas of what I could make in the picture. I also liked doing the coloring because sometimes it is satisfying to just sitt there and color things and I enjoy it.

3D Art Project

In the picture to the left it shows my 3d art project.  I really enjoyed this project because I got to be creative with it on what to use and how to build each part and that is what I liked best about it. I like to design things using random materials to make a story out of it. There was not really a certain part of this assignment that was the hardest it is all pretty easy for me it is just time consuming so it takes a lot of effort and you should make a lot of time for it to make it look as best as possible.

Clay Jar

In the picture, you will see my clay jar. I really enjoyed this project because it allowed us to be creative and come up with anything we like. We got to choose just about any shape and paint it however we want. This had to be my favorite project so far because I got to make something just how I like it and to fit my style. The hardest part of this project was the modeling of the clay to get it exactly how you wanted it. Often times I would get it how I wanted but then it would hit the table too hard or I would knock it on accident and have to redo that part, but it all worked out in the end.

Clay whistle

This project is my whistle and I loved doing this project because it is a very different project and it was a great way to be creative like just a pot or something that you would usually make in art. It was also really fun to make it whistle because I had no idea you could make a whistle out of clay.

Clay bowl

This clay bowl was one of my favorite all year just because I love the way it looks. I think it is really pretty and I get to use it in my house. It was very easy and simple to make yet it kept us entertained and we all got to chose our own design. Even though it is the same project a lot of the student's bowls look so different which is great. It was difficult to try and smooth the outside of it and keep it nice on the inside at the same time but it overall was very fun to do.

Hand Drawing

The hand drawing was super fun! I loved trying something out that wasn't with clay since we hadn't done anything on paper for a while. I never knew I could draw something like that so I was plesently suprised when I finsihed this. A struggle was just overall trying to make it look like a real hand because it is easier to just make a sketch of a hand and make it look like a sketch but a whole lot harder to make it look like a picture of a hand in black and white. But overall I loved this project.

Water Color Painting

This painting was hands down my favorite all year because I just loved adding all the details and making it look very reals by adding shadow and texture. I learned so much by doing this project and I am very satisfied with my fish painting. I couldn't be happier about how it looks. I learned a lot about adding layers to my painting rather than trying to fill it all up with color at once. It did not go well when I tried to add lots of color in the beginning and it caused me to have to figure out a way to fix that little section but it never really worked very well but I think it looks great after I learned.

Self Portrait

I really enjoyed doing my self portrait because I like sketching things out to look identical to the picture. It is a lot harder when I have nothing to go off of so I enjoyed being able to use my picture to make an exact drawing of me. It was a very satisfying project to complete. It isn't the best drawing ever but it is definitely better than I could expect from myself.

Food Oil Painting

This project was pretty fun towards the end but it definitely took me some time to try and get the hang of the new paints and how to blend out colors in the beginning. I like how it turned out in the end but I think I would have picked a different food if I could redo it because these peaches seem a little too plain of a painting.
