This project was fun to make because I could talk to friends while I did it but was also able to get it done on time and it looked somewhat good.
For this project, we had to take a picture of our hand and duplicate it bigger. This project was very challenging and fun to do because I learned a lot of how to do the dot-to-dot and shading which helped me a lot. It also made it easier to draw the entre project. The most challenging part was when I had to shade the tool and make it look like metal.
For this project, we had to paint a picture of a landscape and add textures and drama to it. This project was my most challenging so far because I had to redo it many times and focus on it more than talking with others. I learned how to paint from the most far away to the closes. The most challenging thing was the sky and getting the right color for the clouds.
For this project we had to make a clay jar that is supposed to represent nothing. This project was very fun because we could make the jar whatever shape we want and do whatever design we wanted on it. Some of the most challenging things to do was paint all the holes I put in my jar and make sure it all had the same amount of paint in it. I learned how to glaze my pot and put all different details on it.
For this project, I learned how to make a clay bowl with different designs. Then I picked my favorite design and started on my bowl after I finished my bowl design I had to dry it and take it off the mold. I let it set and dry out and then it was fired the first time. After it was fired I glazed it white and it was fired again. The most challenging thing was figuring out what design I wanted to do.
For this project we created whistles. The hardest part for me to do was making the clay whistle. I had a lot of fun with this project because once you got the clay to whistle you could make the clay into whatever you wanted. I made mine a pig because I wanted to do an animal. I also had difficulty doing the eyes because I had to figure out how to indent them.
For this project we took an animal picture and had to paint it in watercolor. We started off practicing on a shell and learning how to shade the animal and add depth. The hardest part of this was knowing where to put more shade and tint. The beluga whale was hard to do because there was not very much texture on the animal. It took many days to make because I had to let it dry before I could put more layers.
For this project we had a picture of an insect that we drew onto a paper and used oil pastel to add color and details. For practice we tried making whatever we wanted to learn how oil pastels worked. This project went pretty fast because we didn't have to wait for it to dry. I enjoyed this project because it was fun and we could try different things and cover up mistakes. It was really fun and challenging at the same time.
For this project we had to cut into a piece of rubber so that when we would paint it there would be an image. I did an eagle for my animal because they look cool and are awesome. I really enjoyed this project because it was fun to do and wasn't to hard but still was challenging. This was a great project and really fun to do, and see what everyone else's turned out as. There were so many different birds and they were all so fun to see, how people printed them. We had to have one clean print, one double print, one rainbow print, one banana print, one cut out print. For the cut out you had two prints on paper and you cut one out and put it on top of the other paper. My favorite print was probably the clean print because it looked very put together and good with all the others.
