For this project, we got a paper bag with a bunch of random items and a piece of cardboard. I used the cardboard to create an ambulance for the time my sister smashed my finger in the doors. I hot-glued it all together and made people out of paper clips. The best part was watching this come together. I didn't think I would be able to make a little ambulance.
I drew my hand holding a paint roller because I find it soothing when painting a wall and I thought it would be cool to do a paint roller. If I am being honest I really liked making the outline of my hand but the hardest part for me was getting the shading right. I either made it way to dark or had edges. But I didn't give up and I got it to look pretty good. I truly am satisfied at the drawing I made.
This painting was not my favorite project all though I love painting. I found it difficult to paint the clouds I went over the big one 4 different times. I finally figured out a technique to paint it the way I liked it. My favorite part to paint was the grass because I got the right texture and I fingered painted it. I found this project really nice because I love to paint and it wasn't to hard after I got the right technique.
This was the first clay project that we did in art class. I wouldnt say it was my favorite becuase I could have made a better jar. I still like the way it came out. But since I know how to do it now I feel like I could day way better. The hardest part for me was making the outside even. So it looked nice when it was glazed.
This bowl was probably my most favorite project in this class so far. At first it was difficult to make the coils stick on the bowl by eventually I got it to stay up. The best part of this was seeing the bowl after I flipped it over. I really liked how you could put any design on it to make it your own.
This watercolor was definitely a challenge, but in the end, I loved how it turned out. When I was doing that project, I started adding the first layer and didn't like the way it looked. After I added more layers, I really liked how it looked and how it had depth to it. Overall, my favorite part was trusting the process and seeing the results.
When I first started this Pastel I thought it would be easy but as I kept doing it I realized how difficult the small details would be. It took me a while to finish the rest of the bug. My Favorite part of this project was seeing the final product and how it all came to get her in the end.
This project was my all-time favorite just because of the outcome. I loved the way the prints looked when I was finished—especially the rainbow one on the cover. My least favorite part was having to wash it off every time I was done with one color. I didn't find printing it hard, and I never really smeared any other prints, either. I wouldn't change anything about this project.
