In art for the first project that we did, we did a 3D art story. The 3D art story was about how my sister drove me into a rose bush when we were little. This was a fun project because we got to print out pictures and make structures, with the items we were given. Overall it was challenging, but super fun.
For the second art project, that we did we did a hand drawing. It was super fun and challenging. The hardest part was probably drawing the actual hand and how long it took. I really liked how it turned out in the end, and it was supper cool to see all of my hard work, pay off into something really awesome. I really liked this project.
For this art project we did a hand drawing. This was supper difficult. It was hard not to use your brain and just look at your replica of the picture. It was fun to see all of the hard work pay off into something great. This was not my favorite project ever, but it was still a fun experience.
The next project that we did was our clay jar. This was probably my favorite project hat we have done so far. I loved the shape of the jar and the red bow for the pop of color. This project was all about making it not an object which was hard to just create a shape and just go with it. Overall I really loved this project and I had a ton of fun with it.
The next project we did was our Clay Bowls. This project was a challenge and took a while. This bowl took me a while to design and choose what design I was going to do on it. If I were to do something to it I would cover up the whole bowl with no empty spaces. I like the color for how it turned out and I hope my mom enjoys it!
For this project we did a clay whistle. This project wasn't my favorite because I messed up so many times. I wish I would have done something different, but here we are. I am happy that it whistles instead of not making any noise. This project was challenging, but it did turn out alright.
For this project, we had to watercolor an underwater animal. I chose to do a jellyfish. We were only allowed to use a certain color scheme, and I decided to use an analogous one. The colors I chose were blue-green, blue-violet, and violet. I liked this project because I was super happy with its results.
During this project, we were assigned to pick an insect and paint it with oil pastels. I chose to do a butterfly, with some flowers. This project was harder for me because it was hard to get the fine lines and precise details. In the end this project was a challenge, but fun for me.
For our last project we had to make a stamp with an image of a bird on it. We first choose our image printed it, and outlined it on our rubber stamp. Then, we sharpied all of the dark parts of the bird, and cut out all of the white parts. When we were done with that we took paint and learned all different ways to ink our bird. Finally I really like this project and the outcome of it.
