Kanha is a 19-year-old from Cambodia. Her favorite colors are purple and blue. She loves singing, writing, and reading. If she could describe herself, she would say that she is friendly, happy, and brave,
I have the opportunity to create a self-portrait that will be given to her. I am super excited but nervous because I want it to be perfect, and I want her to like it and actually think that it looks like her. I am hoping to do a color pencil, but I am not completely sure.
These where the 3 different trials that I did to see which one I would like to do for my final project. We did pencil, colored pencil, and oil pastel. I am doing oil pastel because I was able to bled the colors better and make it more realistic.

Reflection
Reflection
Throughout this project there were a lot of moments that I just wanted to quit. I didn't like how it was turning out and I thought she would hate it. After watching the video, I realized how worth-it it was. Seeing all the smiles on the kids faces and even a few tears showed me just how much they apprieciated it. I am glad that I stuck with it and I really do hope that she likes it.
