Introduction

Growing up, I was surrounded by narratives from the war. While media existed portraying the brutalities of the war, there were often gaps between the stories that were passed down from my grandparents and those that I saw reading books or wathcing movies.  Ký Ức Thời Chiến: A Collection of Unseen Narratives from Wartime Vietnam is a project that seeks to shed light on new perspectives. Through four stories, you will uncover the unique voices of my four grandparents and their unique experiences of the war.
