The first book in the Series, In which Harry learns that he is a wizard, and his parents were killed by Voldemort, and Voldemort is not dead, but biding his time, waiting to rise again. Oh, and the vault that Hagrid emptied at gringots that day was robbed later that day. Harry, Ron and Hermione all go and try to discover whats under the 3-headed dog in the 3rd floor corridor, and they realize that it is the sorcerers stone. They go and attempt to thwart who they think is snape, but is actually Professor Quirl, with Voldemort sticking out of the back of his head.

In the second book, Harry meets Professor Gilderoy Lockheart, who starts a dueling club, which reveals the fact that Harry Potter can talk to Snakes, and the chamber of secrets is opened, again. The person behind the attacks is Ginny Weasly, being possessed by Tom Marvolo Riddle's diary. Harry and Ron discover that Lockheart is a fraud, and they realize where the chamber is located. Harry, Ron, and Professor go into the chamber, and Lockheart's memory charm with Ron's broken wand backfires, leaving him with no memory of his former self. Harry goes head to head with Tom Marvolo Riddle (AKA Lord Voldemort), and wins, killing the basilisk.

Aunt Marge visits, and harry blows her up, then boards the knight bus, meets the minister of magic, and stays at the leaky cauldron for the rest of the summer. He meets up with Ron and Hermione, and they chat about stuff. Percy is head boy, and Harry hears Arthur and Molly arguing about weather they should tell him about the fact that Sirus black is after him. Harry, Ron and Hermione all board the Hogwarts express and sit in a compartment with professor R. J. Lupin, which has it's advantages. A dementor boards the train, and harry collapses. he misses the sorting because he is in the hospital wing, He starts divination and care of Magical creatures with Hagrid. In Defense against the Dark Arts, Professor Lupin has them take on a Boggart, which for harry is a dementor. Harry asks Professor Lupin to help him battle dementors. Harry learns to cast a patronus. Fred and George give him the Murauder's Map, and Harry sneaks into hogsmead. They are at Hagrid's to support him when Hermione finds Scabbers. He gets away, and a dog drags Ron through the whomping willow. Sirus Black is the dog, And the rat is Peeter Petigrew. Lupin, they learn is a werewolf. Conveniently, tonight is the full moon. Sirus Black is innocent, AND he's Harry's godfather. Harry learns how Hermione does her impossible schedule, and they use the timeturner to save Buckbeak and Sirius Black.

Ron invites Harry to the world cup, and he goes, and there is a death eater attack. At Hogwarts, Harry's name is chosen from the goblet of fire. Everyone is quite astounded, including Harry. Hagrid shows Harry what the first task is, and Harry tells Cedric Diggory, the other Hogwarts champion. Harry gets the Hungarian Horntail, and uses his firebolt to beat the challenge, on Mad Eye's advice. Harry is stuck on the egg, but Cedric Diggory gave him some advice, Harry eventually followed it, and figured out the second task. The Yule ball is why everybody brought dress robes that year. Harry goes with Parvati Patail, Hermione goes with Viktor Krum. On the second task, Harry used gillyweed to complete it. Later that year, Harry is summoned to the quidditch field along with the other champions for a peak at what the 3rd and final challenge will be. Harry and Cedric get to the cup at the same time, and grab it together. it is a portkey to Little Hangleton graveyard, where harry witnessed Cedric die, and Voldemort return.

Harry goes back to school and finds that Dolores Umbridge, a ministry worker, has taken up the post of defense against the dark arts, and soon becomes the high Inquisitor, She hates Harry, and punishes him with detention for talking about how Voldemort was really back, and the ministry was lying. Harry and Sirus communicate, and Dolores catches them, almost. The D.A forms, and it becomes illegal, but they keep doing it. They are busted, and Dumbledore takes the blame, and Fred and George seize the opportunity.They use most of their prank supplies and Dolores cant remove them. She meets her end when Hermione leads them to a bunch of centaurs, which she insults. Harry is lied to by creature, and goes to the ministry, which winds up killing his godfather, Sirus Black, and destroying the prophecy.

Harry goes back to school, with Snape teaching Defense against the Dark arts, and Horace Slughorn teaching Potions. Harry takes both, and gets a book which is property of the Half-Blood Prince. It has a number of useful tips, which harry follow, which leads Slughorn to believe that Harry is a Potions prodigy. Harry takes private lessons from Dumbledore, and is asked to procure a memory from Slughorn. He gets it after a while, and they discover that Voldemort made 6 horcruxes. Harry and Dumbledore have already destroyed 2, and Dumbledore finds another one, and they go together. During that time, Draco Malfoy smuggles death eaters into the school, and set off the dark mark above the astronomy tower. Harry and Dumbledore come back, see the Mark, and borrow brooms to fly up. Draco disarms Dumbledore, winning the allegiance of the elder wand. Dumbledore freezes harry before, however, and Harry under his invisibility cloak, watches Dumbledore die.

Harry, Ron and Hermione skip their last year to hunt horcruxes. Bill and Fluer get married. They leave, and they find the real locket in Regulus Black's possession, stolen by Mundungus Fletcher, and taken by none other than Dolores Umbridge. Harry, Ron and Hermione get the locket, and they have a big fight, and Ron leaves. Harry sees a silver doe, which leads him to the sword of gryffindor, which he attempts to get, but Ron does instead. Ron destroys the horcrux, and Harry brings him back to camp. Hermione is mad, but gets better. The find the last of the horcruxes, and go back to Hogwarts, to find the last one, the Lost Diadem. Voldemort invades the school, and they battle, and Harry lets Voldemort kill him, but he dose not die. Voldemort, in taking his blood, has kept his mother's sacrifice alive. The horcrux inside of Harry dies, and Harry and Dumbledore have a chat. Harry returns, 'dead' and Voldemort makes Hagrid carry him to the school. Neville kills Nagini, and Voldemort's killing curse backfires, but he dose not have his Horcruxes to save him this time.
