This realm is built for challenging players to master precise jumps across narrow bridges and rotating paths. What makes it truly fun is the constant hunt for hidden gems and coins tucked away in every corner of the world. It’s a perfect mix of peaceful exploration and high stakes skill, rewarding players who have a sharp eye and steady reflexes. The main mission is to navigate this aerial world and reach the end goal.

This realm is built for challenging players to master precise jumps across narrow bridges and rotating paths. What makes it truly fun is the constant hunt for hidden gems and coins tucked away in every corner of the world. It’s a perfect mix of peaceful exploration and high stakes skill, rewarding players who have a sharp eye and steady reflexes. The main mission is to navigate this aerial world and reach the end goal.
My original idea for my world was simple: to create a level with engaging obstacles. As I developed it, I added many props to increase the difficulty, such as placing a variety of rocks to block jumps and cause players to fall. Although my initial concept was basic, I found a lot of enjoyment in bringing my level to life. One of my favorite parts was placing coins and gems throughout the level. I especially liked hiding gems in higher areas and carefully positioning coins to guide the player’s movement.
My original idea for my world was simple: to create a level with engaging obstacles. As I developed it, I added many props to increase the difficulty, such as placing a variety of rocks to block jumps and cause players to fall. The Valley
The Valley
Ana - Creative Expansion projectA land of lush greenery and bright, open skies stretches out before you, and along with curious, whimsical buildings. It carries a sense of delight, balanced by a hint of challenge. In the distance, a towering castle watches over the valley, as if guiding - or warning - those who travel the stone path. Along the way, checkpoints offer moments of rest, preparing adventurers for the journey ahead through meadows and forests toward a seemingly peaceful village. However, beneath the village’s mellow charm lies a sinister truth. The villains may have vanished, yet an uneasy question lingers - are the monsters truly gone? The valley holds a dark and intriguing story, one that slowly reveals itself to those who dare to explore. Hidden gems lie scattered throughout, along with secrets that may lead to a key - one that could unlock the path to the ultimate goal.
In this unit, I focused on expanding my village and giving it a deeper meaning, transforming it into a more story-driven world. I relied on basic tools like move, rotate, and scale, while also shaping the landscape, adding foliage, and adjusting the lighting to enhance the overall tone. Instead, the third level will feature a darker, abandoned environment that gives the game a more grim and mysterious tone. However, by the end of the level, the atmosphere will shift back to vivid colors and a sense of resolution to better match the overall feel of the game. I also plan to focus on creating a more engaging storyline through the use of environmental props and details throughout the level. In addition, I want to improve the obstacle course design compared to my second level by making it more creative and challenging. I also plan to include a puzzle element involving gates within the obstacle course to encourage problem-solving and make the gameplay more interactive.

Game Elements Breakdown: The first challenge is a short obstacle section that requires the player to avoid a series of spears while navigating down the ditch entrance. I may also include sweeping arms to increase the difficulty and force the player to carefully time their movements. The second challenge features a smaller obstacle course where the player must avoid hidden knives concealed within fog or fire while attempting to reach the gate safely. This section is intended to create tension and encourage cautious exploration. The third challenge focuses on crossing a lava-filled area by jumping across props positioned above the lava floor. During this section, sideways sweeping arms will periodically emerge from and disappear back into the lava, requiring precise timing and movement to avoid being knocked off. The fourth challenge involves navigating through a series of log obstacles while solving a gate puzzle. The player must determine which lever opens the gate in order to progress. I may change this idea by doing three different levers, with only one functioning correctly. If the player chooses the correct lever, they will only need to complete the obstacle once before moving on to the next section. The fifth and final challenge requires the player to climb along the mountainsides (that I create using ramps) and travel across floating platforms. I may make the platforms move using sequence to increase the difficulty and keep it fun. During this section, the player must also retrieve a key needed to unlock the next level before finally reaching the end goal.
