My name is Levi Foster, and I am a senior at Ankeny High School. I am one of the sports editors for The Talon News Team. I have been on staff for two years and have done work in sports photography, feature and news writing, opinion writing, advertising and marketing, print and magazines, and social media reporting. Journalism has allowed me to find my voice and utilize my passion for writing and photography to keep people informed, and has helped push me out of my comfort zone.

I am interested in every aspect of journalism, but my main interest is sports photography. I aspire to become a professional photographer for a high-end national sports network or even work as a photographer for a professional sports team.

When I’m not working on journalism, I like to spend time with my friends and family, play pickleball and volleyball, take photos on the streets of Des Moines and Ankeny, and play video games.
