Thanks to student ownership, murals are popping up around Ankeny High School
An in-depth look at how U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) is impacting the Ankeny Community School District
In the article, "Students walkout in protest against ICE," I worked with Editor in Chief Lydia Gerety to cover the tension around ICE in Iowa. I investigated the policy and found a high school source from Minnesota. Besides the sources, I wrote the last half of the article (A national perspective section and AHS law enforcement policy).
