Tiger Village Board Members
Gregory Cooper
President
Greg Cooper graduated from Belleville High School (BHS) in 1980. Throughout his over 30 year career in education, Greg taught biology and accelerated biology, sponsored the anti-bullying club, and coached one of the middle school girls’ and boys’ swimming teams and golf teams. He really loves to spend time with his family, golf, read, fish, watch the Lions, and work with Tiger Village and the inspirational staff and students who are so successful at BHS.
Scott Wilsey
Vice President
Scott Wilsey is a retired educator and administrator from Van Buren Public Schools. A 1983 graduate of Belleville High School, where both of his parents, Priscilla Jahner and Richard Wilsey, also graduated. Scott spent much of his career in Education at Belleville High as a science teacher and later as an administrator.
He earned a degree from Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University in 1991, followed by a graduate degree from Eastern Michigan University and a Master's degree in Education from Concordia University.
Scott enjoys golfing and traveling with his wife, Lori. The couple now resides in Troy, Michigan.
Randy Brown
Treasurer
Randy Brown graduated from Belleville High School in 1981. Randy was inducted into the Belleville High School Distinguished Graduates in 2010. He has spent many years volunteering across the community through the Chamber of Commerce and other organizations. He also founded the Belleville Christmas Lights Parade and is a founding member of the VBPS Education Foundation.
Darlene Loyer Gerick
Secretary
Darlene Loyer Gerick graduated from Belleville Hihg School in 1985. Darlene was inducted inot the Belleville High School Distinguished Graduates in 2024. She is currenly serving on the Van Buren Public Board of Education as School Board Secretary. She has served the community with local youth sports, the Girl Scouts, and the Belleville Alumni Association.

Nicole Crockett
BHS Principal
Mrs. Nicole Crockett is the current principal at Belleville High School. She instills in her students the vision of purpose, excellence, and achievement. She is a mother of two college-age students and is dedicated to seeing students succeed in every area of their lives.
Dr. Sydney Rosenblum
Student Success Coach
Dr. Rosenblum holds a Bachelor of Arts in Biochemistry from Scripps College and a PhD in Chemical Biology from the University of Michigan. She served as college adviser at BHS for two years before taking on the role of Academic Student Success Coach. For Tiger Village, Dr. Rosenblum assists students with goal setting and tracking.
Taylor Gamble
Student Success Coach
Taylor Gamble serves as the Attendance Student Success Coach, emphasizing the importance of prompt and regular attendance in student success. She also serves as an advisor to the board of Tiger Village and as a mentor to students. Taylor is the Executive Director of Girls That Rock, a nonprofit she founded to teach young women how to set SMART Goals and achieve them using emotional intelligence and behavior modification techniques.
Thomas Fielder
Tom graduated 3rd in his 1964 Belleville High School class, is. a charter member of the BHS National Honor Society, and received six varsity letters for baseball, football, and basketball. He received the Bosch and Lomb Science Award, and the State of Michigan Academic Scholarship. He returned to BHS as a Social Studies teacher and continued his involvement in athletics by coaching and managing many BHS sports teams.
