Demographic Domain
Based on the dashboard, we found out that the percentage of depression increases linearly as age increases.
We have also observed that Johor has the highest amount of depressed elderly although having the lowest number of elderly compared to the other states.
We found out that the marital status of divorced has the highest percentage of depression elderly.
The job of 6 (Job skilled has the highest percentage of depression elderly while the job of 2 (professional) has the lowest percentage.
Health Domain
We found out that MMSE can affect GDS-15 as the percentage of people with severe MMSE results feeling depressed is much higher compared to people with mild and normal MMSE results.
We also found out that smoking and alcohol intake does not really affect the GDS-15 result as the percentage for each category does not differ by much.
WHODAS baseline and ADL also do not make an impact on the GDS-15 results.
Psychology Domain
Based on the psychological effect, we can notice that people that appear to be normal tend to have a better perspective on things around them. They were satisfied with their neighborhood, they had higher EPQ, they were satisfied with their life...
Social Domain
People that chose to disagree on the Social Cohesion Scale have a much higher percentage of people feeling depressed.
We also discovered that Neighbourhood General Feel, Total Medical Outcome Study Social Factor for Affective Support, Interaction and Tangible Support is not significant towards the GDS-15 result, while Total Medical Outcome Study Social Factor for Informational has a higher percentage of depressed people when choosing None of the time as their answer.
