ABOUT GOOGLE MEET
Google Meet is an online teaching tool for hosting virtual meetings, conducting video conference, and discussing with others in real-time because of its simple interface and integration accessed with Google Classroom. With the use of Google Meet, teachers and students can keep in touch despite of the distance. When there are any physical barrier occurs, Google Meet comes in handy in order to overcome the problems. Through this platform, teachers can communicate important information with students in real-time. The communication between teachers and students are synchronize and no pre-recorded.
Allow to host a longer group call with the meetings can include up to 100 participants.
Provide options to capture and share your recordings. Once recorded, the recordings are saved to your Google Drive and can be shared with others.
The host can get a report on who attended their meetings and live stream. The report contained participant's name, time of their first join, and duration of them being in a call.
Google Meet secure your meeting where no one can join a meeting unless invited or admitted by the host themselves.
Provide breakout room that allow host to divide participants into a smaller groups during meetings.
Virtual Classroom
Teachers can conduct live classes with their students, despite of their physical location. This enables teachers to maintain continuity of learning without excuses from the times of school closures, inclement weather, or any other disruptions.
Flexible Scheduling
Class meeting can be schedule, allowing teachers to host live sessions at convenient times for both parties. They can schedule recurring classes, set up virtual meeting outside office hour, or conduct one-on-one tutoring sessions as needed without hassle.
3. Interactive Teaching
Allow teachers to deliver interactive lessons, and presentations in real-time. It can be deliver by share screen, display slideshows, videos, and use virtual whiteboards like Jamboard or any annotation tools.
Recording and Playback
Students who were unable to attend live class can always referred back to the past Google Meet sessions. The recorded sessions shared by their teachers can be reviewed for revision purposes, or as supplementary learning materials.
Enhanced Communication Skills
Helps students develop communication skills by engaging themselves in verbal and written exchanges with teachers and peers. They give themselves the opportunity to express their ideas clearly, or ask questions directly among the crowds.
Remote Learning Opportunities
Enables students to participate in live meeting classes and access courses content with internet connection. It give them a chance to continue learning despites the constraints due to illness, travel, or other unavoidable commitments.
