ABOUT ME
Assalamualaikum and hi everyone ! to those who becomes my first blog readers , welcome to my bloggers . First thing first i wanna introduce my self , my name is Anis Athirah binti Mohd Sauti but lots of people’s call me anis or enis and i am 18 years old cause im not into 19 years old yet for this year , for your information i am from Tumpat , Kelantan . I got an offer to further my studies at University level in the Diploma in Office Management and Technology at UiTM Machang , Kelantan after I applied on UPU application and i was success to further my studies into this course . However , at first i was not to interested into this course because i didnt know anything about Official Office Management for but after i did some research about this program i wanted to take a challenge on myself in this program and believe this program will be useful for me in the future. By the way , my main purpose to write this portfolio is to introduce about UED102 .
WHAT IS UED102 ?
UED102 or better known as study skills . It was an important learning skill for all students who are going through into university life as well such as effective time management , setting goals , learning skills or learning styles , learning strategies and processing information from lectures. That’s will help a lot’s of students to overcome their academic into the tertiary education level .

TOPIC 1 - GETTING READY TO LEARN
Making a transition ( from school to university ) :
Making a transition from school to university is not such a easy task . We as a student need to make a new friends , find out some new things and need to prepared ourselve physically, mentally and emotionally. There are have so many differences between school life and university life . To adapt to a new life is such a hard thing but it is a worth experience for us .
Characteristics of successful students :
attend all classes that you have to . it is one of the best way to make you be a successful student in university . Even though you will be test on the material from the course text but most of the test question will come from your lectures.
be a good and an active learner such as you need to always prepared some paper to write the notes and recite the information to get it into long-term memory.
get to know your lecturers for your own good such as to ask some question that you can even understand , if you get to know your lecturers you will more feel comfortable to ask some help from them.
make a study group with you classmate or with your roommate . However , you should make sure that your friends is also serious about doing well in their studies.
do a strategies of study for your better performance , you can ask your lecturer for some suggestion about your strategies for you studies to make some improvement .
work hard all semester to get a good result .

these learner is very tactile . They need to get a feel for something. It is all about doing and sensing what they need to learn. This is at a physical level but also can connect an emotional level.
We were given this paper and we need to answer these question to find out my learning style. I am more into the type of visual learning style and before this was also really to easy understand in visual . Then, the types of kinaesthetic and audiotory learning styles are sometimes easy and simple for me to understand it to . Now i know what of my type of learning style and i can stay focus on it.

Stay organized - make a planner on digital calendar or download some notes to put of your tasks and deadlines , it helps you to have reminders for everything you need to track.
take enough rest - sleep before you going to study so you can optimize the maximum of the knowledge that you want.
pay attention - in classes make sure you pay attention and write down a notes of what lecturer said at classes .
