Alter Ego's journey began in 2018, when they entered the Indonesian MPL Season 2 Qualifier. Although they did not make it to the Regular Season, they showed potential and gained a following among fans.

In the following season, through closed qualifications, they managed to make their debut in MPL Season 3, Alter Ego managed to qualify for the playoffs and finished 5th - 6th. This success continued in MPL Season 4, where they finished third.

In 2020, Alter Ego made history by becoming the first team to win the MPL Invitational, defeating Bren Esports in the grand finals and being unbeaten with 11-0 record.

Alter Ego represented Indonesia at the M2 World Championship, where they faced off against some of the best MLBB teams from around the world and they finished in fourth place.

Today, Alter Ego is recognized as one of the top Mobile Legends: Bang Bang teams in the world and has a loyal fanbase in Indonesia and beyond.
