**IMPORTANT PLEASE READ**

Middle school dances are a privilege that all students must earn! Dances are reserved for Intermediate South students only. 

 Expectations & Reminders

• Upon arrival, all students must present an Intermediate South school issued ID or present proof of their parent portal with their picture.  (Staff will be at a table at the entrance when students arrive)

• Dances begin promptly at 6 p.m. and end at 8 p.m.

• Students are expected to arrive on time and remain until the end of the dance. 

  • Students can only leave early if an administrator has spoken to a parent and the parent must come to the door when they arrive at the school. 

• No backpacks allowed. Purses are subject to be searched. 

• All school rules apply before, during and after the dance: This includes attendance, dress code, and behavioral expectations. Code of Conduct - TR Schools

• Inappropriate dancing or behavior will not be tolerated. 

• Students absent on the day of the dance are not permitted to attend.

• Students who are suspended from school are not permitted to attend.

• Students who have disciplinary referrals may not be allowed to attend the dance. 

• Parents are encouraged to volunteer at school dances. The school requests that Seminole parents adhere to the Intermediate South Dress Code and must visibly wear a visitor pass while on the premises. Parents will be provided an opportunity to sign up in advance to volunteer through a Google form prior to the dance. 

• In the event these expectations are not successfully met, administration reserves the right to have student(s) removed from the dance. Parents will be notified.
