Introduction
Welcome to the Euphony robot design competition. It is a fun little competition where you can design your very own robot, for the chance of having it appear in the Euphony music video. We welcome anyone to give it a try and to have as much fun as possible doing so. We're looking forward to seeing what you all create.

The Rules of the Competition
The competition will run from week 4 (20/06/2024) to the end of week 7. The deadline for submissions will be at 11:59 pm on (21/07/2024).
Design Rules
As long as the submission fits into our requirements, we will accept them in most forms. Whether that's finished pieces, sketches, or any other medium. If you're unsure if your design or medium is acceptable, feel free to reach out and ask us.
For the designs of the robots themselves, they must adhere to the setting of Euphony. Although we're very open to all sorts of designs, and would even love for people to be as creative as possible with them. But there are a few things we're not looking for, and here's the list of them.
We want submissions to be family-friendly.
We accept humanoid designs, but robots must not look completely like a human (Such as androids from Detroit: Become Human or Replicants from Blade Runner).
We're not looking for robots made from organic materials. Such as biological material, rocks, liquids, and such. Ask us if you're unsure.
Robots must be characters rather than props (e.g. a sentient vacuum cleaner)
We do not accept copyrighted designs, although inspired/influenced designs may be acceptable.
We do not accept plagiarized designs. Submissions must be made by you.
We do not accept submissions made with AI or other similar programs.
Submission Process
There will be multiple channels that you can submit your designs through, and there will be links to them, at the top of this page. When making a submission, we require a couple of things, they include:
Picture(s) of your robot design.
Your name, nickname, or social media handle. This is optional, as it will mostly be used for promoting your artwork.
Contact details, as we might need them to help give you a prize if you win.
You are allowed to make multiple submissions if you'd like, but be aware, only one can be considered for a prize. So if one design wins, then the other designs will no longer be in the running. If you do want to submit multiple designs, they must be done separately. Because if one submission has multiple robots on it, then that will count as a single design.
The available channels that you can submit your designs include.
Sending through email: euphonyanimation07@gmail.com
On the Euphony Discord in the submission channel.
Euphony Instagram Account as replies to a submission post.
(For SAE Students) Slack Channel
When a design has been submitted, we will display them on this page below, along with your name or social media handle. If you want to remain anonymous, or not have your design displayed whatsoever, you can let us know.
How the Winner is Chosen
There will be three chosen winners for the competition:

The winners will receive prizes, although it is important to mention that these prizes may change depending on your location. Since we're based in Perth, Australia, we're able to give physical prizes to anyone there. But for those living in other places, will receive prizes online.

Terms and Conditions
One last thing to mention, all submissions will have the possibility of being included in the Euphony music video as background characters. With the winning submissions getting a larger appearance in one shot.
So by submitting a design, you accept that your robot design will most likely be used in the Euphony music video, and your name or social media handle will appear in the credits.
