Short and Long Dept of Field 

Short Depth of Field means a smaller range of focus.  Short Depth of Field means "a few feet in focus".  You can achieve Short Depth of Field by having a WIDER F-STOP/Aperture-- F2, F3, F4Long Depth of Field means a larger range of focus.  Long Depth of Field means "a lot of feet in focus".  You can achieve Long Depth of Field by having a NARROWER F-STOP/Aperture-- F11, F16, F22Ansel Adams was known for his Long Depth of Field photographs.  He founded the group "F-64"
