Hello, I am the teacher librarian at Cody Elementary School located in Le Claire, Iowa. Cody Elementary School is one of five K-6 elementary schools in the Pleasant Valley Community School District. I graduated from Western Illinois University with Bachelors of Science and Masters degrees in elementary education. I obtained my Library and Information Specialist endorsement from Northern Illinois University.

Before coming to Cody Elementary School I taught for 18 years in East Moline, Illinois, 7 years in a 1st, 2nd and 3rd grade and 11 years as a Library and Information Specialist at an elementary school.

In my free time I enjoy running, biking, and cross country skiing. I always look forward to traveling back home to visit family and friends in Michigan's Upper Peninsula.

I am very excited to be working at Cody Elementary School and look forward to sharing all that the library has to offer with the Cody students and families.

I have been at Cody Elementary in the library for 8 years. I started out volunteering, and now I am here 5 days a week. I was born in England, and came to the US in 2002. I like reading, eating out, exercising, and watching my 4 sons play soccer. We have 2 dogs, 3 cats, and a turtle. What a zoo!
