Events under Gir House:
Our House provides an opportunity for everyone to display their abilities. Events are frequently the ones that bring a student's trip to life. With the goal of making online learning enjoyable again, our House organises a variety of inter-house and club activities to bring out the best in everyone. We realise and appreciate that everyone has a myriad of tastes in life.
As a result, we want to organise a variety of events under many categories, allowing you to participate in one that is relevant to your interests. These activities will not only allow you to learn more about your subject of interest but will also allow you to build relationships with other students in your batch.
The house events will be organised with an intent of promoting a competitive spirit among the various houses of the Online Degree program. At the end of the session, the houses will be placed on the podium in accordance with their performance across the year. These house events would moreover be generalized as compared to the club events, which will be more topic-specific.
We would also love for you to provide suggestions for club events. We will take all necessary efforts to maintain the event standards and will keep a close eye on the feedback forms filled out by our event attendees.

Various club organisations have been formed so that individuals may learn more about new vistas. Our house constitutes some of the most unique clubs like the Anime club and the Chess club that are creating a timeline for the events in the upcoming months. These club events will be especially only for Gir house members. In the end, this House is by you all and you are the gems in this crown we call Gir House.

House Events:
Events are the heart of college life and despite being an online degree course IITM is trying its best to provide an interactive environment for it's students through these events.
This section is for Inter-House Events, i.e events between teams of different houses. There are several events organized under this section and students of different houses can participate in these events according to their interests. These events are the best possible way to get in touch with members of other houses and a great opportunity to showcase your talent.

Club Events:
These events are reserved exclusively for the Gir House members. A basic notion of bringing life to this online mode of learning. At IITMOD, we provide a variety of events to cater to everyone's interests. The secretary and vice-secretary of the clubs aims to work determinedly to ensure the event's success.
All the members of the Gir house will be able to participate in the events to aid you in showcasing talent in your field of interest. Similarly, the societies’ events will be organized and would consist of multiple events.
These events are conducted to boost competitive spirit while also doubling as talent hunts to identify members who would represent the Gir House at inter-house events.
