As a senior at V. R. Eaton High School, Jordan Vimbai Mutubuki has dedicated herself to a life of service, scholarship and excellence. Growing up in Dallas, Texas to two immigrant parents, Ms. Mutubuki had the value of education and hard-work instilled in her from an early age. Despite her family's and her own struggles with lack of finances, mental health, grief, and periods of instability, Jordan was blessed to see the fruits of labor and belief come to fruition in real time. Today, surrounded by her loving family and friends, in addition to a supportive academic and social community, Ms. Mutubuki has repeatedly proven a testament to hard-work and a standard of success to those around her through her many interests and responsibilities.
