Above on the left is my current 2024-2025 DECA project, which I’m super excited to share has advanced to compete at the State Career Development Conference this March! It’s been a lot of hard work, and I can’t wait to see how far we go. On the right is my DECA paper from last year, which not only received 1st place at the state level but also advanced to compete and ranked in the top 100 at the International Career Development Conference in April 2024! That was such an amazing experience, and I learned so much from it. Finally, to the left is our presentation board, which we’ve used for competition to display our project’s purpose, planning, and execution stages. In which its these projects have taught be skills in project management, creativity, and business. It really brings everything together and helps the judges see the full picture of our hard work and dedication!
Throughout the course of this year I have had the privilege of getting to work with and help mentor some of the freshman start up companies. I have worked on and developed two projects for them, on the left you can see the flyer that I created advertising the event and is posted on weekly emails, social media, and throughout our schools announcement system. Additionally above on the right you can see the cover for the website I created which you can access through the qr code on the flyer. This website shows each one of the companies logo, their description, and colors and visuals that represent their company! Through this I have learned skills in teamwork, collaboartion, and networking. Having this opportunity to work with them have been great and I cant wait to keep working with them the rest of the year.
Here is my Eagle Scout project book! This book was a crucial part of my Eagle Scout board of review, where I detailed my project, the preparation that led up to it, and how I demonstrated my leadership skills throughout the process. It showcases the planning, coordination, and execution stages, highlighting how I effectively guided my team to achieve our goals. This book not only serves as a record of my hard work and dedication but also as a testament to my ability to lead and inspire others.
Through various projects in Illustrator and Photoshop, I’ve gained valuable experience in graphic design by creating logos, posters, and digital illustrations. These projects helped me learn essential skills like layering, masking, and using typography effectively. Over time, I’ve also received critiques that have pushed me to refine my techniques and better understand how to communicate visually using Adobe software and program leading to me to become certified in many of adobes programs!
On the top is our annual company report, which received 1st place at the Company of the Year competition. This achievement was a testament to the hard work, dedication, and strategic planning of our entire team. The report highlighted our significant milestones, innovative strategies, and the overall growth and success of our company. Additionally, this paper was well-received and qualified for submission to the National Leadership Summit in Washington in 2023, where it was showcased among the best in the industry. For the Domino's bankruptcy case study, we researched and identified several key problems that led to their financial troubles. Domino's filed for Chapter 11 bankruptcy, which allowed them to reorganize their debts and business operations. In our research, we focused on issues such as declining sales, poor customer satisfaction, and outdated branding. We then brainstormed various methods of rebranding and redesign that could help make Domino's successful again. This included revamping their menu, improving customer service, updating their logo and store design, and launching new marketing campaigns to attract a broader audience. These strategies aimed to rejuvenate the brand and restore consumer confidence, ultimately leading to a turnaround in their business performance.
