The Colorado Department of Education defines "Professional" using the following descriptors:
Time & Work managment
Career literacy
Grit and Resilience
Work ethic; dependable and reliable
My Personal Definition:
In my opinion, professionalism is more than just time and work managment, professionalism is behaving in a way that shows resposibility, respect, and a strong work ethic. Whether thats at school or at work. You are how you present yourself, and when you put yourself out in a place where professionalism is required, it can show a lot the behavior you have for the people around you and work with.
Don't be scared to ask to observe, or to ask questions, or to even talk to somebody
Take it in as much as possible, get a once and a lifetime experience to learn all this new medical terminology
Be determined, you are there to learn so don't make it bad
My Future Plan & Career Statement

After that id wokr in some kind of pediatric clinic to gain experience.
COMMUNICATION: Working in a hospital where things can easily get switched or messed up, requires lots of talking and communication between nurses and even patients. So not only seeing it happen between colleagues but also having to resource it for myself as time went on.
CONFIDENCE: Meeting new people and only having so limited time to form and build a relationship can my hard. But the more i was there i slowly got out of my shell and was getting more and more confident with asking questions or even asking to shadow a nurse to see a patient, and if i hadn't had done that i wouldn't have been able to see as much as i did.
WORK ETHIC & PROFESSIONALISM: I demonstrated strong work ethic by consistently arriving prepared, assisting staff proactively, and completing tasks thoroughly in a fast-paced hospital environment. I maintained professionalism by communicating respectfully with patients and staff, protecting patient confidentially, and responding positively to feedback from supervisors.
