WBL: Athletic Training at Montrose High School
Professionalism means demonstrating responsibility, respect, integrity, and strong work ethic in all situations. During my internship, I showed professionalism by being dependable, dressing appropriately, communicating respectfully, and taking initiative when helping athletes and staff.
My career goal is to become an athletic trainer or personal trainer because I enjoy helping others improve their physical health and performance. I am passionate about fitness, injury prevention, and supporting athletes so they can safely compete at their highest level.
Year 1–2 (College Freshman & Sophomore):
Major in Kinesiology or Exercise Science
Maintain strong GPA
Volunteer with college athletic programs
Year 3–4 (Junior & Senior Year):
Complete internship with athletic program
Earn CPR & First Aid Certification
Prepare for athletic training certification
After Graduation:
Become a certified athletic trainer
Work with high school or college athletes
