The Colorado Department of Education defines "Professional" using the following descriptors:
Time & Work Management
Career Literacy
Grit and Resilience
Work Ethic; Dependable and Reliable
My Personal Definition:
In my opinion, a huge part of professionalism is your work ethic. Although time and work management is a huge part of professionalism, I believe work ethic is an even bigger factor. Having strong work ethic means completing tasks efficiently amd responsibly without reminders from others. This is especially important in the workplace where finishing your work on time keeps everyone on track. Good work ethic plays a key role in career growth and demonstrates how far you can advance in the workplace.

My future goal is to work in an area of finance of where I can apply what I learned in my internship at City of Montrose and what I'm going to learn in College. I plan to major in Finance at UCCS. Future careers I'm planning on looking into would be Budget Advisor, Financial Advisor, Financial Analyst or a career related or similar.
I am currently maintaining my jobs at 7Brew, which I've worked for over a year now and Montrose Recreational Center, that I've worked almost four years now. Both jobs can be fast paced, and I've gained experience working independently and as a team to achieve a similar goal. And I always look for opportunities to. create an environment of warmth and attentiveness at both job sites.
