The Colorado Department of Education defines "Professional" using the following descriptors:
Time and work management
Career literacy
Grit and resilience
Work Ethic: Dependable and reliable
In my perspective, professionalism is not just about the image you portray, but also the qualities you embody. Time management, grit, resilience, and a strong work ethic are all admirable traits that contribute to professionalism. Additionally, taking initiative, generating innovative ideas, and being a collaborative team player are qualities that set you apart from the rest. Embodying these characteristics allows you to excel and make a positive impact in any professional setting.
