My Personal Definition
Professionalism means presenting yourself in a respectful and responsible way, especially in school, work, or any other professional environment. It includes being on time or early, dressing appropriately, speaking respectfully, and doing your best on assignments or tasks. Even as a student, showing professionalism means being mature, staying focused, and treating others how you would want to be treated.

Currently I am finishing up my employment at Cold Stone Creamery as the store manager and switching over to being an employee at Chow Down Pet Supplies. While working at Cold Stone, I managed employees to ensure the store ran correctly and smoothly, communicated the needs of the supervisor to employees efficiently, and demonstrated exceptional customer service. I am now transitioning to Chow Down to be in a job more related and valuable to my future career goals. At Chow Down, I will gain nutritional knowdlege for all types of animals as well as deepen my costumer service skills. This will greatly help me in my future to already have the knowledge and experience of nutrition in the animals I will be caring for.

Future Plan & Career Statement
In my future career, I strive to become a hardworking and knowledgeable mixed animal veterinarian who is able to diagnose and treat all species of animals with various needs. I plan to open my own practice who will be known for its exceptional care for the animals as well as the owners. To accomplish this goal, I will attend a smaller univeristy to obtain my masters in animal science, and then transfer to the University of Florida to attend their Veterinary Program to get my doctoral of veterinary medicine.
Goals I Set for Myself
Self Confidence/Critical Thinking: Having the confidence and knowledge to complete tasks asked of me without needing guidance the whole time. To be able to think critically and have the confidence to work through a problem when it occurs. Being able to complete a task without relying on others.
Become More of a Subject Matter Expert on Vet Medicine: Learn simple vocabulary, procedures, and information about vet medicine. Be able to answer questions about vet medicine, which will intern help me be more self confident when answering questions or performing tasks.
