I strive to be a hardworking and compassionate registered nurse who aims toward identifying and prioritizing patient needs as well as incorporating a variety of health care resources into an individualized care plan to help the patient the best I can holistically. To accomplish this goal, I will attend UCCS upon graduation majoring in nursing.
Q: What’s the most exciting thing you have seen in this medical field
A: 1 I enjoy when people go home and are successful when they’re out of the surgery procedure
2 The other thing that made me happy was when I was working in hospice and telling the family being ready and understanding the dying process with our being shocked and sad. But they are sometimes in the EMERGENCY room seeing people recover. Overall I’m an adrenaline monkey so I like it, it boosts me up!
Internship Overview
Q: If you have any more advice for me about nursing in the future for myself
A:Nursing is tough but if you know that’s what you wanna do that’s what you should aim for. Not only nursing is a lucrative career but you can work anywhere in the US and find a good job. I have been to multiple places as a nurse and when you get bored with a department you can always do something else and you’re always learning. If you become a nurse and don’t have questions and become complacent then you become a dangerous nurse. That’s the advice I have for you!
