The Colorado Department of Education defines "Professional" using the following descriptors:
time & work management
career literacy
grit and resilience
work ethic; dependable and reliable
In my opinion, professionalism is not just hard work, time, and determination. While these qualities are important , true professionalism also depends on the attitude and mindset you bring to your worksite. It involves approaching every task with responsibility, integrity, and a willingness to learn. To me, professionalism is shown in how you handle challenges, interact with others, and maintain a positive and focused mindset even under pressure. Ultimately it is the combination of dedication and the right mindset that truly defines a professional individual.
MORGAN and CHRISSY!
They both made my time in the office so wonderful! Morgan even asked me if I could babysit her kid for her! I'm super grateful for all the connections and relationships I made throughout my internship.
